I would like to announce some exciting news! Helge Buflod of Helge's Horse Training has full access to our facility for training. Happenstance Stables is very excited about this! Helge will be holding several natural horsemanship clinics at our facility for the 2010 year. Clinc schedule listed below or you can visit his website below for his clinic schedule.
Helge has been working with our Foxtrotters and us for several years now. He has trained other Foxtrotters from Iowa to Kentucky. He has worked with and trained all breeds of horses, mules and a Zebra...yes a Zebra! He is an amazing trainer and person. Stephanie at Happenstance Stables will be offering a new program called KINDERGARTEN FOR COLTS!
The program will consist of the ABC's of training for your young colts. Weanling to two years. We will teach your colt to lead, disengage hindquarters, back & circle drive. Your colt will be desensitized to all kinds of objects including a bareback pad, saddle pad and saddle, carrot stick & string, & an obstacle course.
We want to help you get your colt off to a good start by implementing training fundamentals early.
You will be given a session at the end of your colts training to learn the skills to continue his/her learning process.
Your colt will be taught the basics of Natural Horsemanship! KINDERGARTEN FOR COLTS!
