Happenstance Stables offers Natural Horsemanship lessons for kids and adults.  We also offer foundation training for young colts, saddle breaking, tune-ups  for your seasoned horse by the week or month & barrel horse lessons & training. 

TRAINERS - The following trainers are available to be scheduled at Happenstance.  All horses hauled into Happenstance for lesson will pay a $5.00 haul-in fee to the stable.

Rachael Hardy -   Rachael comes to Happenstance with a NH background as well as a performance background in barrel racing and pole bending.  Rachael has been a 2 time world qualifier for NBHA as well as a finalist.  Rachael's NH background allows her to prepare a horse not only physcially but mentally to be a performance horse.  She also brings a colt starting background.  Her natural way of working with horses and riders allows her to take problem horses under saddle and make them willing confident horses.  Rachael firmly believes in building a partnership with a horse based on trust and respect. She is offering lessons from basic beginner riding skills to barrel racing fundamentals, kids to adults, 4H kids to pleasure trail riders.  Lessons are $35/hour.  Rachael currently has openings for colt starting as well as lessons to help potential barrel horses.  Video of Rachael click here.  To contact Rachael for lessons or colt starting and performance training call 937-527-0766 or email rhnaturalhmship@yahoo.com    


Stephanie Phelps - Stephanie has been practicing NH for over a decade.  She is the "learn how" or "I need a kick in the pants" instructor at Happenstance.  Steph will teach you the basics of riding; learning leg & foot positions, how to use your body to communicate to the horse, how to hold the reins, where should I be looking, etc for the beginner rider.   For the timid rider that wants to maybe trot or canter for the first time, she has a way of pushing you just a bit further to experience what you and your horse are capable of in a fun learning environment.  Because Stephanie thinks of these goals as a student herself she has a unique way of helping her students through them.  Lessons are $35/hour.  To contact Stephanie call 513-616-2106 or email steph@happenstancestables.com 




Tracy Brock - Tracy has studied Parelli Natural Horsemanship for many years.  She has brought 3 horses into Level 3/4.  Tracy has also studied with Bryan Neubert, John Lyons and Richard Winters as well as some top rated PNH instructors of years past.  She brings a unique talent to Happenstance Stables in problem solving for both horses & riders.  Enabling you to communicate to your horse better online or from the saddle.  She has also given private beginner clinics for several years, evaluated horses and gives tune-ups.  Tracy is great at spotting what you or your horse need to make it fun, safe & explaining it in a way you can understand and apply.  If your horse is perfect....except for _______?  Or if you feel like you need some insight on what might be missing or can be improved upon....Tracy can help.  Tracy can be contacted at 513-560-7601 or email tromohr@yahoo.com for lessons or clinics.  Lessons are $40/hour.
